I was born in Everett, but my family and I soon moved east of the mountains to a small town called Walla Walla...more cows, fewer gangs I suppose.  I accepted Christ at the age of 11 at a Jesus Northwest festival (Petra ROCKS!).  I started playing on worship teams when I was in Junior High, but back then I was a drummer.  I didn't actually pick up a guitar until my Sophomore year at Northwest College.  That next summer I took my first internship at a church near Ocean Shores as Worship Leader/Youth Pastor (thank goodness for "From Survival to Significance"!).  Those few months were a pivotal time in my life as the Lord began molding and shaping me for the years of ministry that were to follow.  Shortly after my internship ended some of my college buddies and I formed a band, 5ivestar.  We traveled around the Northwest playing at camps, youth groups, county fairs, conventions, etc.  In September of 2002 I married my college sweetheart, Chersti, and in March of 2007 we (she..but I helped) gave birth to our beautiful daughter, Isabella Marie and our second daughter, Lily Jean!  Most recently, I was a worship leader at New Life Church in Renton.  Worship, to me, is a very intimate and passionate experience.  We are the bride of Christ, and as such our worship is nothing short of a love encounter with God.  My desire is to lead people to a place that is authentic and transparent, where our Lord is lifted high and our lives are changed.
