My passion for ministry comes from a desire to see every person experience the life of purpose and loving community that God desires for us. I have worked in youth ministry since 2012, and love hanging out with students and seeing them grow in relationship with Jesus. I graduated from Corban University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biblical Studies, and also hold a Master’s of Arts in Christian Leadership from Corban.

Fun Facts
I am an unashamed homeschool kid. My sister and I were homeschooled through middle school and most of high school.
I am very passionate about my sports teams of choice, perhaps too passionate. Only for ministry or family will I miss USMNT matches or OSU football games, and even then it is a debate. I am Oregon born and bred! I lived my entire life in the Willamette Valley until just recently. I am pro level napper. I nap almost every day that I have off, and sometimes I will nap when I get home from work.

Favorites
Book: The Silmarillion (I am a nerd, and share an equal passion for history and high fantasy)
Dessert: I do not have a favorite dessert, but treasures the third bite of every dessert I eat. The third bite is the one in which the deliciousness of the dessert has fully sunk in, and there are so many more bites to go!
Movie: The Lord of the Rings
Holiday: Thanksgiving. You eat until you hurt, and then you watch football and fall asleep on the couch. It’s arguably more American than the Fourth of July, and I love all of those activities dearly.
Restaurant: There is a Mexican restaurant in Portland that has excellent salsa and does the fajitas just right.

How I spend my days off
I’m a home body. Occasionally the promise of hanging out with friends or playing team sports will get me to emerge, but I mostly hang out at home.

What I love most about Solid Rock
Solid Rock members possess a tremendous spirit of service. Most members volunteer in some capacity, and people are always willing to help if need be.

Favorite verse
Philippians 1:21: “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
