G.E.T. (Girlfriends Encouraging Troops) is a G! Group of Girlfriends Unlimited, our Solid Rock women's ministry. We have joined together with "Christian Friends of Troops' to support our service men and women overseas.  Last month, with the donation from a few of our 'girlfriends' at Solid Rock, the "Christian Friends of Troops' sent out over 90 boxes overseas, including 8 of the boys we are supporting. 

 

Each month we will continue to send boxes.  Please drop your donations off at the Solid Rock office Monday - Thursday, 8:30 - 4:30 p.m.  Monetary donations are also accepted to help with postage.  If you would like to help prepare the boxes or have any question, please contact Graves at 253-639-8099 or cheribe@comcast.net.

Eye Drops, Lip Balm, Skin Lotion, Hand Sanitizers, Dental Floss, Sunscreen (30 or higher), Foot Powder, Tooth Brushes & Toothpaste, Wet Wipes, Throat Drops, Disposable Razors, Tylenol , Anti-itch Cream, Non-aerosol Shaving Cream, Crossword & Sudoku Puzzles and Games, Hand-held games, AAA and AA batteries.

 

Food items:

Beef Jerky, Raisins, Dried Fruit, Sunflower Seeds, Granola Bars, Fruit (pull-top cans), Coffee Singles, Fruit Leather, Nuts, Pasta, Chil, Beef Stew, Salmon, Tuna, Soup (pull-top cans), Microwave Popcorn, Flavored Tea Bags, Powdered Fruit Drink Mix, Candy and Gum.
